Please help resolving

Samba - samba-technical mailing list
I have upgraded the samba version on my machine to samba4.4.14
Note: I am using pbis/likewise for authentication instead of winbindd.

I am seeing the error msg:
[2017/07/30 02:55:28.660555,  1, pid=27798, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)]
../source3/librpc/crypto/gse_krb5.c:416(fill_mem_keytab_from_system_keytab)
  ../source3/librpc/crypto/gse_krb5.c:416: krb5_kt_start_seq_get failed (No
such file or directory)

So I copied the missing /etc/krb5.keytab file from other machine to
/etc/krb5.keytab
after doing it, when I try to mount, I am seeing following errors:

1.
[2017/07/30 18:02:20.346439, 10, pid=13619, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)]
../source3/passdb/lookup_sid.c:1300(gid_to_sid)
  gid 100 -> sid S-1-22-2-100
[2017/07/30 18:02:20.346468, 10, pid=13619, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)]
../source3/groupdb/mapping_tdb.c:284(find_map)
  failed to unpack map

2.[2017/07/30 18:07:51.652842, 10, pid=24615, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)]
../source3/passdb/lookup_sid.c:1174(legacy_sid_to_unixid)
  LEGACY: mapping failed for sid

smb.conf i am using has:
kerberos method = system keytab
dedicated keytab file = /etc/krb5.keytab
max protocol = SMB3

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Sandeep.

Perhaps I am wrong but it is my understanding that LikeWise
authentication does not support any version of Samba beyond 3.6.

This indicates, I believe, that Samba was unable to talk to your crazy
Likewise stuff to translate a SID to a UID/GID so it does tend to
indicate that Likewise is not working for you.

You should really consider using Winbind.
